We're Off!!!

It's Memorial Day and I hope you are all enjoying your extended weekend!  We are hoping on a flight today to head down to a little island in the Caribbean for a WEEK…just me and my Hubby, EEEKKK!  Our kiddos are in great hands and we couldn't be more excited to spend a week together with NO ROUTINES.  You parents out there know what "routine free" for a short period of time is like…GLORIOUS!

I'm taking a little "work" break this week (after all, I want to be in full vacation relaxation mode)!  Just wanted to let all of YOU, my amazing supporters, know that I will be back real soon and that I have some amazing posts planned for when I return as well!  You will see tid bits of our trip on Instagram this week so I hope you will follow along.

Cheers to rest, relaxation, and lots of fun in the sun!  AND as always, thank you for your continued support and for the love you show to my blog, KBStyled!

Ditto's Endless Eyewear Program

Ahhhh, Sunday, how I love thee!  Sunday's are always spent doing what I love most…spending quality time with my little family.  My in-laws are in town and today we will be spending part of the day at the pool…it is absolutely gorgeous out and the first thing our kiddos asked when they woke up was "when can we go to the pool?"!

I typically don't post on Sunday's but today I had to tell you about this amazing new monthly subscription service, Ditto "Endless Eyewear".  I posted this yesterday on Instagram and Facebook but for whatever reason these platforms did not like my links so I am putting the link in my blog so it is easily accessible.  So sorry to those who tried to find the link, hope those of you who were asking received my email and have had the chance to check it out!  Anyway…

On to sharing more about this AMAZING monthly service…if you love designer eyewear but don't love the often times hefty price tag, you will LOVE Ditto's "Endless Eyewear" program!  This monthly subscription service offers women (and men) the opportunity to wear designer eyewear (sunglasses and prescription glasses) without having to make a commitment up front.  Try a pair out, return them, try another pair out, maybe return those, and try even another pair out…get the idea?!  You can wear as many different pair within the month as you would like…try out your first pair, send them back, select your second pair, etc and they will be shipped to you in the blink of an eye.  Shipping is fast, free, and they even offer a return label so you can send the eyewear back at no extra cost to you.  I received these Elizabeth & James "Southport" sunnies and I literally have been wearing them non-stop.  As much as I LOVE these, I truly can't wait to pick out my second pair!

This service is super affordable…it is ONLY $19.00 per month for the sunglass subscription and $29 per month for the prescription glasses service.  AND, even better, you can test drive this service with your first month FREE via THIS LINK.  Give it a go and test out as many pair within your first month as you would like…after all, your first month is FREE so why not?!  If you don't love it for any reason, there is no obligation to you yet you have been able to wear designer sunglasses/glasses for an entire month!

If you have any questions about Ditto's "Endless Eyewear" program, just leave a comment with your question below and I would be happy to answer them!  As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a blessed Sunday!

Canadian Tuxedo + Julie Lopez Shoes

It's Friday, whoop whoop, it's Friday, yea yea!!!  Seriously, it's Friday and I couldn't be happier. This week has been a bear at work and come Monday, just my Hubby and I will be on the beaches of Aruba.  Don't take that as bragging because all of you Momma's out there know what a BIG deal it is when you actually get to break away for any vacation, much less a vacation just with your man!  So, you can totally understand my excitement right now!

I've also got to talk a little bit about how my tolerance (or lack thereof) for heels has changed over the last few years.  Don't get me wrong…I LOVE my heels but my poor feet can only tolerate them in small doses lately.  As a busy active Momma, I find myself leaving my heels on display and opting for much more comfortable and practical shoes (flats, sandals, tennis shoes, etc).  These Julie Lopez "Josie" flats are like wearing bed room slippers…they are just soooo comfortable, completely practical, yet so chic!  What makes her shoes so comfortable is that they feature an "All Day F-I-T (Flex Innovation Technology).  Her shoes also feature discreet side slits for flexibility and a wider toe box to keep those piggy's from overcrowding one another!  Julie Lopez's shoes are totally worth the investment…you will  want to wear them all of the time!

Not to carry on and on today but a couple of other things that I must mention…these shorts from Old Navy are some of the most comfortable denim shorts that are in my wardrobe right now (GREAT price too), this necklace is a Stella & Dot knock off and it is only $17.95, and if you love this perfect summer Tote as much as I do, grab yours now before they are gone!

Okay, that's enough for today…sending you off with many wishes for a beautiful Friday and a big THANK YOU for stopping by!

*A special THANK YOU to Julie Lopez, Bib Jewelry, & Wrenn Jewelry for these beautiful pieces!

KRZA + Julie Ellyn Designs

Where's my motorcycle?!  I'm not kidding, this look makes me feel like I should throw on my backpack, put on a helmet & leather jacket, hop on my bike, and ride off into the sunset.  Although, having never ridden a motorcycle before, as exhilarating as this sounds (for a fleeting second), I would be completely terrified (and it would NEVER happen)!  Thinking I'll just stick to my Tahoe, which is all the vehicle this Momma can handle!

I've posted about KRZA by Krystle Dawn headbands & Julie Ellyn Designs before BUT I had to post about both again because I just love these ladies and their shops!  Krystle makes the most fun headbands and she has some adorable styles out right now for summer…I am personally craving one of her pineapple headbands myself (so perfect for those days by the pool/beach or to throw in your hair to head out to eat a casual dinner on a patio somewhere)!  AND Julie Ellyn creates some of the most gorgeous semiprecious gemstone jewels, which are all handcrafted to perfection.  I am always eyeing her pieces and this one here has my affection right now, isn't it gorgeous?!

Also, you may have noticed over the last few weeks that on Wednesday, I link up with some other stylish Blogger babes and I am happy to be linking up again today…check these gals out when you have a minute!  As always, thanks for stopping by…Happy Hump Day!

One SoCal Gems Statement Necklace, Two Ways

| Outfit Details

Necklace c/o | Top (similar here) | Pants | Heels | Sandals (similar here) | Hat | Earrings | Clutch (similar here) | Sunglasses | Open Heart Ring

Hi everyone!  Hope you had a great weekend.  The highlight of our weekend was taking our son to his Pre-K prom!  Yes, you heard me right…I did say "prom"!  It was such a fun little night…one that he probably won't remember well but one that we will never forget.  We had a major glimpse into the future…time needs to slow down, our baby boy is growing up so fast!

For today's post, I am featuring this stunning SoCal Gems "Anastasia" bib necklace.  Isn't it gorgeous?!  I wanted to show you how you can wear one statement necklace, two different ways…dressed up for a night out and dressed down for a more casual look.  A statement necklace isn't just for those special occasions, it can absolutely be worn with a more casual look as well.  I am big fan of working with what you have in your closet to achieve different looks.  Altering your look is simple…just add on or change out your accessories and viola…you have just taken your look from day to night!

Do you have a great tip for taking an outfit from day to night?!

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope your week gets off to a great start!

Jumpsuit Jumpin' From Work to Weekend + Q&A

| Outfit Details

Jumpsuit (similar here) | Floral Blazer | Tote (similar here) | Trench (limited sizes available) | Chain Bib Necklace | Sunglasses | Clutch (similar here) | Heels (similar here & love these here)

Happy Friday y'all!  I'm jumping right out of this workweek and straight into the weekend just as soon as I can!  I know you all are with me too…it's almost time to get our weekends started, YAY!

Speaking of "jumping", this black jumpsuit is so versatile and I am styling it for both a work and date night/GNO look!  It doesn't take much to change your look either!  Something as simple as swapping out your accessories and heels will transform this look from day to night.  And if you are still having some late spring chilly nights, this adorable trench coat will keep you warm!  Also, check out how I styled this jumpsuit with a denim vest and sandals here!

In my opinion, every gal should have a black jumpsuit in their closet!  I know many of you are probably timid when it comes to jumpsuits (including me!) but if you find a great quality jumpsuit with a little (or a lot of) structure to it, I think you will become a fan too!  A jumpsuit made of thin flimsy material or spandex isn't going to be as flattering as one made of a nice thick cotton or cotton/polyester blend.

Do you have a jumpsuit in your closet?

As always, thanks so much for stopping by!  AND ALSO, I am answering a few questions from my Instagram feed below…if you ever have a question/questions, please leave them below and I would be happy to answer them!  Have a great Friday everyone!

Q:  @chloehancock96…"What is your spring/summer makeup staple?"

A: Hi Chloe!  I have a few spring/summer makeup staple's that I just can't live without.  First up is a bronzer that I use all spring/summer long, which is "Laguna" by Nars.  I also can't go without my favorite blush "Torrid" by Nars & several cans of Evian Mineral Water to spray on my face and refresh my makeup throughout those hot summer days!

Q:  @samianie…"What is your job?  And how old are you?"

A:  Hi Annie!  Well, I have many jobs…like being a Momma of two (well 4 really if you count our two pups…they are my babies too), my most important job. ;-)  BUT, I also work in corporate America for a large bank as a Vice President in Global Human Resources and of course my other job is as the Writer/Creator of my fashion blog, KBStyled.  I am 34, turning 35 this July…sigh, that was hard to say, isn't 35 a milestone birthday?  Thinking I should be doing something big to celebrate this years birthday!

Q:…"Where are you from?"

A:  Hi!  I grew up in a small town just outside of Charlotte, NC called Fort Mill, SC…it actually isn't so small anymore!  Shortly after graduating college, my Hubby (boyfriend at the time) and I moved to Newport Beach, CA for 3 1/2 years, then off to Phoenix, AZ for 5 years, and we have most recently settled in Tennessee about 3 years ago.  We love it here and plan to stay! ;-)

Dainty Jewell's Polka Dot Maxi Skirt + Kristine Lily

| Outfit Details

Maxi Skirt c/o | Top (similar here) | Earrings, Bangles, Ring c/o | Necklace (enjoy 20% off with code "Brooke20")

Happy Hump Day!  Summertime is definitely on it's way and I will be living in light flowy dresses and skirts…staying cool and comfortable is at the top of my priorities list!  Today, I'm styling (and doing a little twirling too in...) this gorgeous Dainty Jewell's maxi skirt.  Polka dots are so girly and I love the size of the dots on this skirt!  I also love the waistline, which makes this skirt feel more vintage/retro.  Designed to sit high on your natural waistline, this skirt will accentuate your curves beautifully!

I've paired this skirt with some nude heels, however you can wear sandals or wedges for a much more casual look.  Throw on a denim jacket for a those cooler late spring/early summer nights and you've easily dressed down this gorgeous skirt!

These gorgeous jewels are handmade by Kristine Lily and we will be teaming up this Thursday for an AMAZING Instagram giveaway, so be sure to check back!  Also, if you have been looking for the perfect personalized nameplate necklace, I've included a link above where you can shop this exact necklace as well as so many other unique personalized styles (code "Brooke20" will save you 20% off your order too)!

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Hump Day!  Also, be sure to check out some of my AMAZING Blogger friends below through our "On Wednesday's We Wear" Linkup!
